reWILDING Home
From Iberá to Iguazú with local hosts and conservation at the core.
A country that
seems to hold
every world in one.
Argentina is a mosaic of extraordinary landscapes, but also of cultures that endure. Gauchos keeping centuries-old traditions alive, indigenous communities preserving their heritage, music resonating in every region, and everyday rituals that turn into unforgettable experiences for those who share them.
Feel the rhythm of Argentina through tango, chamamé and intimate encounters with local communities.
Walk deep into the rainforest and stand before the majesty of Iguazú Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
Fly over Iberá’s wetlands in a private charter, spotting a wide range of wildlife and endless horizons.
Be welcomed at Fran’s family “Estancia”, where history, tradition, and Argentine hospitality come together.
Ride horses, kayak with caymans and explore wild landscapes, blending adventure with intimate connection to the land.
Stay in boutique lodges that directly support rewilding and conservation projects.
Your first taste of Buenos Aires
The journey begins in Buenos Aires, and far from being just another big city, it offers your first deep connection with the Argentine culture. You stay in Recoleta, one of its most elegant neighbourhoods, and explore it on foot with a local guide. You discover its history, architecture, and the iconic cemetery where key national figures are laid to rest.
You also navigate the Paraná Delta, an unexpected natural escape just minutes from the city, and visit neighbourhoods like La Boca and San Telmo, full of character, street art, and local energy. The day ends with an intimate dinner and tango show — a real and heartfelt introduction to the spirit of this city.
Iberá: across the wetlands, from land to sky
Misiones: culture, jungle and Iguazú Falls
From Iberá you head northeast, to the province of Misiones, a region defined by subtropical jungle, rich biodiversity, and strong cultural roots. You visit a working yerba mate plantation, sharing stories and flavours with local producers who keep this tradition alive.
You stay in a nature lodge, walk jungle trails, discover hidden waterfalls, and navigate the Paraná River, one of South America’s great waterways, to reach remote corners of the landscape. The journey culminates at Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, which you experience from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides in a truly unforgettable way.

Founder of Reconnect & Your Host on This Journey
Born on a farm outside Buenos Aires, Fran López del Carril is the 14th generation of his family in Argentina. After a decade designing and leading high-end travel across South America and the Nordics, he founded Reconnect in 2022 with a clear idea: journeys should carry purpose.
What makes this trip truly unique is that Fran will personally host it. With his roots in Argentina, his ties to conservation projects, and his passion for sharing meaningful experiences, Fran connects every detail of the journey to a deeper story.
Traveling with him means not just discovering Argentina, but experiencing it through the eyes of someone who calls it home — blending adventure, culture, and conservation into moments you’ll carry long after the journey ends.
